Team Project: Music Instrument Design
Project Overview: #inclusivity #fabrication #handcraft
Our objective involves the innovation and fabrication of novel musical instruments, introducing fresh performance possibilities for musicians while providing an engaging experience for live audiences. The envisioned design encompasses three distinct instrument categories: Tonal, Percussive, and Open.
We had the opportunity to meet with Kenneth Lee, also known as Ken Butler, an artist, musician, and innovative creator of experimental musical instruments. Through his hybrid musical instruments and artistic works, he delves into the dynamics of ordinary and extraordinary items, modified visuals, sounds, and moments of quietness, exploring their interplay and metamorphosis.
